Challenge
4411 is a well-known mobile parking solution in Belgium. It is used to make parking both on- and off-street payments. Users can pay either by SMS or directly through the mobile app.
The old apps had numerous bugs that needed to be fixed and the usability design wasn’t perfect. CactusSoft was asked to develop the apps from scratch for both iOS and Android platforms.
Solution
Our team consulted the customer about UI/UX design development and engineered some new functionality (a view of parking meters on a map, the opportunity to buy bus- and tram tickets, push notifications, etc.). It’s also become possible to recharge an electric vehicle on charging points.
After successfully re-engineering the app and implementing the new features, 4411 was released on the App Store and Google Play.
