Cactus is ready to expand the team with a Quality Assurance Advisor. In this role, you will be working as a part of a scrum team on the development of apps in such domains as Education, HR, Healthcare, Fintech, Fleet Management, Digital Transformation, etc.

What You Will Do
- Create & maintain partnerships with product managers and development teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of product requirements and delivery timelines.
- Lead the charge in promoting and implementing “shift-left” practices across multiple development teams, emphasizing early detection and prevention of defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance in the development teams and execution of QA strategies, test plans, and test cases, ensuring the highest standards of quality & reliability are upheld in every release => Quality Assurance.
- Act as a bridge between QA, product, 2nd line support and delivery teams, excellent communication, collaboration, and alignment of objectives to drive the successful release of high-quality software.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability across the organisation.
- Champion test automation initiatives, collaborating with delivery teams to implement robust automation frameworks and strategies that accelerate release cycles without compromising quality.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with software releases, working closely with stakeholders to implement proactive measures that safeguard product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
What We Expect
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on SaaS platforms and Agile development methodologies (continuous delivery).
- Proven expertise in “shift-left” practices and a demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with product and development teams to drive quality outcomes.
- Strong technical skills, with expertise in software testing principles, techniques, and tools, including test automation frameworks.
- Experience with test-management tools ( AIO, Testrail, X-Ray ), automated end-to-end test frameworks ( Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, … ).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experienced in stakeholder-management.
- Experienced with web technology, applications and services (e.g. HTML, REST, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, selectors, JSON, Typescript, PHP, …).
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS), containerisation (e.g., Docker ), analytics ( Datadog, Grafana, InfluxDB ) and scripting ( Python, TypeScript ) are a bonus.
- Strong advantages: Experience with SaaS software. Familiarity with project management, CRM, or invoicing software. Experience with API tools. Active involvement in industry forums or QA/testing communities.
