What You Will Do
As a Business Developer at Cactus, you will be responsible for expanding our client base and generating new business opportunities. Your focus will be on lead generation, converting leads into concrete opportunities, and successfully closing deals. Your tasks will include:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in software development and AI-driven solutions.
- Work closely with our Head of Innovation, Sales & Marketing, and HR to shape go-to-market strategies.
- Initiate and build client relationships, especially with tech-driven companies ready to innovate.
- Take ownership of lead generation, deal flow, and customer engagement.
- Translate client challenges into tailored, high-value software propositions.
- Act as a sparring partner to both clients and internal teams, ensuring business alignment and delivery focus.
- Attend local and international events to promote Cactus’ services.
- Contribute to the growth of our Sevilla team and help anchor Cactus’ presence in the region to become the leading digital agency in the region.
What We Expect
We are looking for the next resilient Cactus, an energetic and results-driven professional with a passion for sales and technology. The ideal candidate has:
- 3+ years of experience in business development in the software/tech industry.
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing B2B deals.
- A proactive self-confident communicator—you speak up, challenge, and engage.
- Naturally tech-savvy, with a good grasp of software development and AI trends.
- You understand digital business models and how technology drives growth.
- Energetic, motivated by impact, and ready to take initiative.
- Collaborative and open—you’re a team player who lifts others up.
- Comfortable with variable compensation tied to performance.
- Preferably based in Sevilla and open to working from our office.
- Being fluent in Spanish and English is a must.
