Challenge
The Grain an Antwerp-based data science company, was looking for developers to work on Checkmate, the company’s own application for production planners. Having failed to find top talent locally, The Grain looked at the external market and joined forces with Cactus.
Solution
The company delivered an MVP themselves, building the analytical components and a robust backend. Cactus was brought on board to work on a strong front for the web application.
Checkmate has now been launched. The Chekmate´s owner has collected and analyzed the primary feedback — the reactions from customers have been predominantly positive.
Results
The collaboration continues, with Cactus providing additional QA services to The Grain. The companies now work on upgrading Checkmate and adding new features to the app.
