Accelerating Smart City Innovation Through Strategic Partnership
Geosparc, a Belgian company founded in 2008, based near Ghent, specializes in open-source geospatial software and smart city solutions. In a rapidly growing market driven by urbanization, sustainability, and digital transformation, smart city technologies are reshaping how citizens move, live, and interact with public spaces. These solutions improve mobility, reduce congestion, and help cities make data-driven decisions that directly impact quality of life. With the support of Gumption Group, as part of a broader modernization initiative supported by its growth ecosystem Geosparc set out to reinvent its digital infrastructure and expand its smart-city offerings starting with intelligent parking systems.
That’s where Cactus stepped in. What began as backend support soon evolved into a embedded development support within Geosparc’s product environment.
